Stage One City Planning & Environmental Policy
UCD City Planning & Environmental Policy is three-year Level 8 BSc in City Planning & Environmental Policy Degree Programme that bridges topics of concern to built environment professionals and those interested in the broader natural environment. The programme integrates disciplinary knowledge from several subject areas to deepen and broaden students’ understanding of spatial, environmental, social and economic issues. Particular focus is given to planning and policy responses to such issues. The programme promotes a knowledge-based and evidence-based approach to creative problem-solving that supports the realisation of a more equitable and sustainable world.

Stage One Module Choices
In the autumn trimester, you will study a fixed set of six core modules. The only other decisions you have to make are to choose suitable times for your laboratory and tutorial sessions.
Elective Modules

If you want to choose a suggested module that is related to your degree programme, see the “Option” modules listed when registering.
