Colm graduated from UCD in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Science (Mathematics, Mathematical Physics and Statistics) and in 2010 with a Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance.
He began the UCD PhD programme in 2010 as a member of FMC2 under the work package titled ‘Pension Risk’. Colm’s research interests include: longevity risk as it pertains to pension plan design and securities pricing, the optimal dynamic asset allocation of DC pension funds, the asset-liability management of DB pension funds, and the behavioural biases of pension plan participants.
